PTCL is definitely working hard to bring us best quality of service when it comes to the broadband. It is been literally years since the launch of PTCL’s broadband service but it is still as good as it was on its first day.
Problems may vary +/- from one user to the other, but we can bet you will face these problems if your ISP is no other than PTCL, for PTCL stakeholders, this should not be a surprise, its what they are selling us as added bonus features.

PTCL Broadband Problem#1: DSL light that never gets stabilized :
This is probably worst of them all, because the PTCL support team will never admit that problem is at their end. They will ask you to buy a new DSL/Phone line splitter, which never works, as blinking DSL lights suggest that there is probably no response from PTCL servers due to continued failing user/password authentication and/or phone line distortions. Score +1 for the support team.
PTCL Broadband Problem#2: You called line man, no wonder broadband death is near :
You called in the line man to put an end to phone line distortions and make it clear, but does it work as desired? H-No! Line man’s rips your phone line from one port and puts it to the other(and that port clearly doesn't support DSL's), now you have no more line distortion and no internet any more. Score +1 for the PTCL’s coordination.
PTCL Broadband Problem#3: Getting no service, but still getting charged for it :
Days will pass by and you will experience no broadband service form PTCL, to get out of this situation, you will have to pay a generous visit to the exchange and meet the responsible persons face to face or they will never help you out. Or if you throw their cheap modem at them then they’ll terminate your service.
...hence we can say that the problems never end, when there is PTCL at the other end, they should make a slogan out of it, really.
