Pakistan Oil prices, they must rise!

PAKISTAN OIL PRICES

Drone attacks, Citizens Security, Provision of Justice, Corruption free Government, these are the Issues where Pakistan Government is NOT TO RISE for everything else that holds a price tag in this Country MUST AND SHALL RISE. Why should they care about people? Pakistan Oil Minister/Ministry and his peons have every authority and since we fund their cars and their oil,.. i think its much clearer now, "we are out of luck".

Prices rose once again, Petrol +Rs. 6 and Diesel +Rs. 5, The "Pakistani Government" we too are unaware of their intentions. But its safe to say that they are full of surprises.

Lets do little math here:

1 US OIL Barrel = 159 Litres of Crude Oil,
currently a barrel oil is sold for $83,
so the price per litre of crude oil should be $83/159 Litres = $0.53 per litre of crude oil.

$0.53 x 85 = Rs. 45. (Crude oil price per litre in PKR)

As crude oil is not what we really use in our cars, we need to add refinement and finally its transportation cost to get the final value. I suspect REFINEMENT + TRANSPORTATION COST would not greater than 20% of the crude oil price per litre and it should not because they don't refine 1 litre oil at a time or transport 1 oil barrel at a time.

20% of Rs. 45 = Rs. 9,
Crude Oil Price + Additional Costs = Assumed Actual Cost

Rs. 45 + Rs. 9 = Rs. 54

Now, even if we add Taxes we still cannot justify the Rs. 18 added on per litre oil. Why they put Rs. 18 extra on a nation which is already broken from every angle. (Hint: Zardari tax ...?)

It even gets scarier as Pakistan gets oil from Saudia Arabia and other middle eastern countries at discounted rates, sure someone is filling his pocket here, the strategy is to stab on a fat money pipe line (in our case: the oil people daily use) and get as much money as you want. Its one of the times when we have Thieves like Mr. 10 Percent, President Thug Zardari on every fat money pipe line like vegetables, food, electricity and ... uhh... WHAT NOT!

Oil & petroleum minister can't do much without support of state executives (prime minister, president) that is why they are responsible as well.

Oil and Petroleum Ministry is run by PPP ministers. Don't you think they can communicate with president?

Yes, i agree Oil Ministry is run my Pakistan Peoples Party , but you cannot put the blame on President.. the chief running the the oil ministry is the one responsible.
