Electricity outage in Pakistan

fake electricity outage pakistan

We are a nuclear nation, there are few such nations in the world, 10 countries to be exact. United States, Russia, UK, France, China, India, Israel, Pakistan, North Korea, South Africa. None of them is having energy issues as severe as Pakistan.

We are facing fake electricity cuts because government does not want to pay private electricity producing companies for their dues, they don't think electricity is any important as they never had outage once. Its the current Pakistani Government that dictates who will and will not get electricity. Score +1 for the equality failure. Click read more and see how our government prioritizes electricity supply.

Pakistan electricity, least outage to the most per province/capital.

1. Islamabad (Capital), 0 - 4 Hours outage, depending upon Location
2. NWFP, 2 - 4 Hours of outage, depending upon Location
3. Sindh/Pujab, 12 - 16 hours of outage, depending upon Location
4. Balochistan, 16 - 20 Hours of outage, depending upon Location

The priority of Government to supply electricity is as following: (high priority to least priority).

1. Critical Government Institutions, (Parliament House, Courts, President House etc), places used on daily basis by people running Government.

2. Homes/Properties of people running government.

3. Businesses run by people in government.

4. People in urban Areas.

5. People in rural Areas.

Right now Islamabad is top city where people in government are buying(well, land grabbing to be exact)/having properties, hence it being the top priority. So, as long as you stay close to Government Palaces, you sure will stay away from music that other face for quite some time.  Pakistan Government should not ignore kyrgyzstan.

Democracy = A means of small special class to rule much bigger general public.

Nice article but i guess you are wrong about , nowhere the situation is like in pakistan.

Let me tell you In india too there is loadshedding maybe not in the big IT cities as much as in Lahore and Karachi.
And the current government does not dictates but .. it is unanimously passed by our ..MNA's and MPA's... And its because they got some serious issues to deal with.. like how to run a country rather than how to get food and water.
After all That's the beauty of democracy.....

Its right that India faces some electricity outages as well, but wouldn't it be a democracy fail where people's elected leaders don't bother about down deep people problems?
